Synthesis

   Many people don't agree that athletes should be allowed to take PEDs; however, the ways for prohibiting unclean athletes are various. Specifically, an arganization can be helpful to make sports clean by educating. Goodman(2012) states, "The hope is that through educating the participants, commissions and public on the hazards of performance-enhancing drugs, the benefits to competing clean will become obvious and ubiquitous" (para.5). As a result of this education, people will know the importance of clean competition. On the other hand, paying attention to clean athletes is sometimes better than focusing on unclean athletes. Bradbury(2012) reports, "Fines would be based on the spoils (including prize money and endorsements) of the competition and would be split among the athletes who pass the tests" (para.5). Then, clean athletes will be encouraged. In conclusion, many methods should be tried to keep athletes from taking drugs which improve their athletic performance.
